HOW THEY FUNCTION
The District Commissioner is responsible to the Chief Commissioner for the administration and running of the district. He designates areas of responsibility to his deputies and assistants who in turn carry out those duties and report back to him. These include the effective running of the groups in such areas as proper records keeping, annual returns, training of all sections, attending district events and responding to varied requests of the District Commissioners. The District Council is the non-uniform administrative section of the district and is responsible mainly for fund raising and sourcing of the necessary skills needed within the District.
